Chief Accountant

You will be responsible for taking care of day to day finance and accounts operations, preparing financial statements in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards for statutory purposes and in accordance with IFRS for group reporting purposes, taking responsibility for the Financial Accounting, including monthly group reporting and annual statutory reporting, leading monthly and annual closing process based on the group closing schedule, initiating activities for operational cost reduction, but also supporting implementation and application of corporate policies in accounting area, supervising fulfillment of VAT and Corporate Tax declarations, measuring effectiveness and optimization of accounting processes, revaluation of fixed assets, reviewing balances and balances prior to month-end closing, verifying settlements and initiating corrective actions, central Statistical Office reporting (GUS) and other tasks and projects as required.
