We aim to build a big data analytics platform for a global shipping company – Hapag-Lloyd AG. In Gdańsk, we established a Knowledge Center. Within it – Solutions for Analytics (SFA). A group of top IT experts, designers, and executors, will apply AWS cloud technology in the maritime and shipping industry. The role
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining IaC processes for our infrastructure and building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline automation. Your responsibilities will also contain: design, improve infrastructure, monitoring and alerting; taking care of securing, hardening infrastructure and monitoring costs; supporting team in daily activities like fixing ad-hoc issues and implementing DevOps practices.

Your profile
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch and others)
- Experience with Linux and Linux scripting in an enterprise environment
- Good knowledge with hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines preferably based on Gitlab
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including tools like Helm and various operators
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages: Python, Bash
- Experience with creating and managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
Nice to have:
- Experience with cost optimization of infrastructure on AWS
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS management, firewall policies
- Experience with securing and hardening cloud based infrastructure
Perfect match:
- Experience with data ecosystem based on Snowflake/Spark/Qlik products
